Executive Director of Support Services will oversee and ensure the smooth operation and strategic development of key support functions for deployed teams.
Client-facing leader for support services. Manages vendors and partners for support teams.
Daily leader for compliance, auto programs, aggregated spending, travel and expense, HCP spend, IT, and credentialing.
Excellence in field force deployment and operational tactical planning and oversight, contributing to the effective operational performance and regulatory compliance of deployed teams.
Responsibilities include:
- Lead and manage support services to ensure operational excellence.
- Develop and execute support services strategies aligned with department goals.
- Oversee auto programs for deployed teams, ensuring fiscal and operational execution with resource optimization.
- Oversee expense management systems (e.g., Concur) for policy adherence, efficiency, and accurate reporting.
- Oversee and manage compliance programs, including systems support and monitoring.
- Collaborate and manage interdependencies within data systems (e.g., CRM, Dialer).
- Oversee and develop reporting processes for core functions.
- Manage and oversee third-party vendor relations to ensure adequate service delivery.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements.
- Analyze and report on key performance metrics to senior management.
- Participate in medical and commercial deployed team implementation and support.
- Oversee and implement operational strategies for effective compliance and monitoring.
- Partner with other Executive Directors, VPs, and SVPs.
- Support Deployment Solutions pricing and contracts related to support services.
- Ensure accuracy and commitment to project goals.
- People leadership: Coach, mentor, and develop direct and indirect team members; hold direct reports accountable; interview, select, and supervise staff; communicate company policies; determine job objectives, work methods, and performance standards; review performance; authorize salary changes, promotions, transfers, discipline, and discharge.
- Additional duties: All other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, operations management, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- 15+ years of experience with 5+ years in a management role, within the pharmaceutical industry, with experience in contracted medical and commercial deployment.
- Experience with deployment solutions support service implementation.
- Experience managing project management services.
- Experience in project execution and systems.
- Proven success in leading multidisciplinary teams.
- Excellent follow-through, sense of urgency, and ability to work independently.
- Strong written/verbal communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills with proven ability to communicate with clients.
- Adaptability, flexibility, and prioritization skills.
- Strong customer-facing skills with strong relationship-building ability.
- Moderate knowledge of Microsoft Suite, strong analytical and communication skills, and BI industry knowledge.
Salary: $148,000 - $200,000 (negotiable based on experience).
