As a Prevention Advisor Level 1, you develop, implement, and monitor the company's well-being policy. You advise management and supervisors, conduct risk analyses, and design preventive measures for a safe workplace.
You are the primary contact for safety, health, ergonomics, psychosocial aspects, and environmental matters. You represent the company in the Committee for Prevention and Protection at Work (CPBW), contributing to discussions and proposing improvements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analysis and Advice: Conduct risk assessments and provide advice to management on preventive measures.
- Policy Development: Develop, implement, and monitor a prevention and well-being policy compliant with legal standards and company culture.
- Control and Reporting: Coordinate and follow up on internal audits and workplace inspections. Report findings and suggest improvements.
- Training and Awareness: Organize training sessions and campaigns to raise employee awareness of safety and well-being.
- Permanent Representation in CPBW: Actively participate in the Committee for Prevention and Protection at Work (CPBW), presenting issues and proposing solutions.
- Collaboration with External Partners: Liaise with the external prevention and protection service (EDPBW) and other relevant organizations.
- Psychosocial Aspects: Provide guidance and support to employees on psychosocial risks and stress prevention.
Education: Certified Prevention Advisor Level 1 diploma or bachelor's degree with a willingness to obtain the certification.
Experience: At least 5 years in a similar role in a technical, industrial, or complex work environment.
Knowledge of Regulations: Comprehensive knowledge of Belgian well-being at work legislation (WABO) and relevant standards.
Skills: Strong communication skills, ability to create buy-in for safety initiatives, analytical problem-solving, teamwork, fluency in Dutch and proficiency in English and French (desired).
