Full-Time Finance/Accounting Support - Payroll

Reporting to the Sr Manager, Payroll, you will partner with various stakeholders to process timely payments for employees across the US, prepare journal entries, reconciliations, and support other payroll and accounting activities.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with maintaining, preparing, and processing biweekly and monthly payrolls to ensure timely and accurate employee payments including but not limited to salaries, garnishments, taxes, fundings, and deductions
• Review accuracy of data entered for new hires, terminations, and additional employee changes prior to finalizing the payroll
• Prepare and distribute payroll reports for review to appropriate departments while maintaining confidentiality
• Prepare journal entries and reconcile ledger accounts
• Assist with payroll audits by providing payroll records and documentation
• Balance, verify and research, if needed, employee paid time off accruals
• Review and help resolve any discrepancies or issues related to payroll taxes
• Review, update, and compliance with SOX requirements

Qualifications:

• 3-5 years of payroll experience in a semiconductor or manufacturing company
• Intermediate Excel skills (must be comfortable using or learning formulas)
• Strict attention to detail
• Effective communication skills with ability to interact at all levels of employees and managers globally
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving environment and agility to balance strategic projects and day-to-day analysis and compensation support

Compensation:

The expected annual pay range for this position is $50K- $56K. This position is also eligible for bonus opportunities. Please note that final offer amount will be dependent on geographic location, applicable experience, and skillset of the candidate.
