WHAT WILL KEEP YOU BUSY:
You will be responsible for providing expert guidance, advice, coaching and mentoring to ensure high standards of safety performance across one of our group contracts. Visiting locations to offer support to ensure locations are legally compliant as well as following company policy and industry "Best Practice".
Helping influence operational teams, managers, chefs and team members offering sound guidance to improve safety performance & compliance with company policy.
Reviewing accident and incident reports to ensure the necessary corrective actions have been taken following accidents or near misses.
Undertaking formal accident, allergy incident and alleged food poisoning investigations, working to identify root causes and compiling investigation reports.
Supporting locations with timely completion of actions following local authority (EHO) visits.
Support for developing, engaging and rolling out safety initiatives and information.
Prepare reports and present at meetings both internally and with the client.
Attend Client meetings to offer sound advice and help ensure BaxterStorey policies & practices mesh with Client requirements.
Support the development of a strong safety culture across the contract.
Support with online systems, to ensure compliance and raise maintenance tickets to support with location safety.
Work with the wider Food, Health & Safety Team to review and develop safety documentation, projects, training, and safety initiatives.
NEBOSH Certificate and Level 4 Food Safety (or willing to work towards)
BSc or MSc in Environmental Health (desired)
Must have full driving licence.

Have the ability to display a real passion for food and customer service
Keep up to date with appropriate legislation and company policy and procedures
