Full-Time Functional Chief - Work and Family Life Program

• Provide program oversight of WFL programs and coordinate with NAFI representatives.
• Ensure execution of instructions and regulations affecting service delivery in WFL programs.
• Analyze data, briefings, and assist in developing standardized curriculum and program implementation guidance.
• Identify best practices for program delivery and assist in curriculum development.
• Assist Regional FFSP Program Managers in developing marketing plans.
• Assess the effectiveness of WFL programs and recommend adjustments to resources or policies.
• Collaborate with other FFSP personnel to provide support to individuals, families, and commands.
• Coordinate with agencies and other service support offices.
• Ensure WFL information is incorporated in FFSP education and awareness campaigns.
• Monitor WFL Programs staff training and compliance with contract performance standards.
• Oversee consultations and education/training in WFL Programs.

• A master’s degree in a social science or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365.
• Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and able to work autonomously.
• Two years’ experience managing, coordinating, or supervising social services programs.
• Knowledge of military family programs and social service agencies.
• Strong oral and written communication, assessment, data management, and advocacy skills.
• Advocacy knowledge of state, federal, and local resources.
• Knowledge of the FFSMIS system is desired.
