Geoscience Recruiter
About the Role:
- Run full-cycle recruiting for specialized geophysical talent (geology, geophysics, etc.)
- Source and close candidates.
- Understand the business and what colleagues do.
- Identify talent sources, including non-traditional ones.
- Translate job specs to effective sourcing.
- Provide excellent candidate experience (low withdrawal rates).
- Surface hiring issues to executives.
- Articulate KoBold's value proposition.
- Become a talent market expert.
- Advise senior executives on talent strategy.
- Report pipeline performance.
- Support hiring managers.
- Coordinate offers with HR, founders, and hiring managers.
- Contribute to recruiting processes.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of full-cycle recruiting for niche technical talent.
- Ability to quickly absorb and synthesize complex information.
- Strong intellectual rigor.
- Exceptional curiosity and eagerness to learn.
- Prior career position as a scientist or science degree preferred.
