Global Benefits Specialist supports the design, implementation, and administration of global benefits programs, ensuring competitiveness, compliance, and alignment with the organization’s goals. This role collaborates with the Global Benefits Manager and cross-functional teams. It analyzes benefits data, manages vendor relationships, and ensures seamless employee benefits delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in designing and implementing global benefits programs, providing detailed analysis to align with benefits strategy.
- Adapt programs to regional needs while maintaining consistency, in collaboration with the Global Benefits Manager.
- Analyze benefits data (enrollment, utilization, feedback) to support decision-making and continuous program improvement.
- Prepare reports highlighting program trends, effectiveness, and enhancement areas.
- Act as the point of contact for external vendors, supporting the Global Benefits Manager in contract negotiations.
- Provide direct employee support for benefits inquiries, issue resolution, and a positive experience.
- Monitor compliance with benefits regulations and regional/local legal requirements.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation to support audits and regulatory reviews.
- Provide training/guidance to employees on new benefits offerings.
- Support annual benefits renewal and open enrollment processes, communicating changes effectively.
- Ensure accurate information and support for employee enrollment choices.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Education: Associate’s degree (or equivalent) in HR, Business Admin, or related field.
- Experience: 3+ years in US benefits administration; 2+ years in global/regional role strongly preferred; Experience managing complex benefits programs for large organizations (1000+ employees); Experience with HCM platforms (e.g., Dayforce).
- Skills: Strong communication skills (verbal & written), analytical skills, vendor relationship management; Ability to present information professionally, prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with Benefits in a Multi-National Environment is a must.
