Global Compensation Manager is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing global compensation programs.
This role focuses on developing salary structures, job leveling, and incentive programs to attract, retain, and motivate top talent across various regions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement global compensation programs (base salaries, incentives, variable pay).
- Design programs balancing internal equity and market competitiveness, aligning with strategic goals.
- Lead comprehensive job evaluation processes and market analyses to ensure competitive pay practices.
- Utilize compensation data to set accurate salary ranges and structures reflecting industry standards.
- Create and maintain salary structures and job grading frameworks for consistency and fairness.
- Provide training and support to Talent Management and managers on job leveling.
- Advise senior leaders on compensation strategies, market trends, pay equity, and incentive design.
- Use data and reports to support recommendations, aiding business decisions.
- Ensure compliance with local, regional, and international labor laws.
- Oversee the annual compensation review process, coordinating adjustments, merit increases, and bonus payouts.
- Partner with other departments for accurate data in compensation systems.
- Leverage compensation management software (MarketPay, PayScale).
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, Finance, or related field. Master's or relevant HR certification preferred.
- 7+ years experience in compensation management.
- 3+ years global/regional experience preferred.
- Experience designing complex compensation programs and working with senior leaders.
- Experience developing salary structures and job leveling for diverse regions.
- Compensation software experience preferred.
- Strong understanding of global compensation practices and compliance.
- Analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
- Ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
