Job’s missions We are seeking a Global Manager, Health Economics Outcomes Research (HEOR), part of the New Product Planning sub-team within Global Pricing & Market Access. This role supports development and implementation of health economics and outcomes research (HEOR) strategies to maximize payer value perception and patient access. The successful candidate will empower regional PMA teams to implement HEOR strategies locally and regionally.
Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities
- Serve as the primary contact for all HEOR-related topics.
- Support the development, execution, and implementation of global HEOR strategies, collaborating with business development and internal teams.
- Act as the key contact for real-world evidence (RWE) activities.
- Develop economic models (e.g., cost-effectiveness, budget impact).
- Develop and implement strategies for generating RWE to support product value propositions.
- Lead the development of HEOR findings for publications and presentations.
- Monitor and report on the impact of HEOR activities and adjust strategies.
- Conduct global HEOR and payer research to define evidence needs.
- Assist in the development and dissemination of the Global Value Dossier.
- Plan, design, and execute HEOR studies.
Education & Experience
- Advanced degree in life sciences, health economics, or related fields.
- 3-5 years of experience in HEOR, focusing on market access.
- Extensive knowledge of HTA mechanisms, payer insights, healthcare systems, and regulations, particularly in Japan, China, South Korea, EU5, and the USA.
- Strong relationship-building and influence skills, including experience presenting to executives.
- Proven ability to support change management and strategic planning.
- Strong communication, analytical, and project management skills.
- Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
