Senior Global Mobility Lead
The Global Mobility Manager leads our group global mobility function, ensuring programs are modern, efficient, employee-centric, and cost-efficient—supporting business growth and enabling international talent strategy.
This role oversees a global team delivering seamless end-to-end mobility experiences.
Partners closely with internal stakeholders and external providers to continuously evolve policies, processes, and technology solutions.
Dual Focus:
- Strategic Business Partnership: Trusted advisor to leadership & business, contributes to strategic decision-making (e.g., expansion, M&A), ensuring mobility considerations are integral to growth plans.
- Team Leadership & Development: Fosters a high-performing team, focusing on operational excellence, team capability development, external networking, and team visibility.
Works closely with cross-functional teams to deliver comprehensive mobility solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership & Strategy:
- Leads the Global Mobility team in delivering best-in-class services for international assignments, relocations, and cross-border employment.
- Designs and implements global mobility strategies aligned with Endava's business objectives and talent priorities.
- Serves as internal thought leader on global mobility trends, compliance, and best practices, ensuring policies are state-of-the-art and scalable.
- Stakeholder Engagement:
- Consults with senior HR leaders, Talent Acquisition, Finance, Legal, and business stakeholders to support workforce planning and mobility needs.
- Manages relationships with external partners (relocation vendors, immigration lawyers, tax advisors).
- Delivers training and guidance to HR teams and people managers on mobility programs, policies, and compliance topics.
- Employee Experience:
- Serves as primary point of contact for employees during international transfers, ensuring a positive experience from initiation through repatriation/permanent transfer.
- Identifies and proactively resolves potential pain points in the mobility journey with empathy and professionalism.
- Policy & Compliance:
- Contributes to/leads the development, governance, and continuous improvement of global mobility policies and frameworks.
- Monitors global tax, immigration, and employment regulations to ensure compliance across all jurisdictions.
- Drives consistency and equity in mobility offerings, allowing for localized flexibility.
- Operational Excellence:
- Oversees the end-to-end mobility process (assignment planning, cost projections, relocation logistics, post-move support).
- Evaluates and implements tools/systems to increase efficiency, tracking, and reporting.
- Uses data and metrics to evaluate program effectiveness and support strategic decisions.
Educational Background: University degree; Global Mobility (GMS, CRP) or International HR (SHRM, CIPD) certifications are a plus.
Previous Experience: Significant HR experience, 8+ years in Global Mobility, 2+ years leadership; proven experience developing/optimizing global mobility programs, compliance with international labor laws, and managing/mentoring a global mobility team.
Knowledge & Skills: Deep understanding of international employment law, immigration regulations, taxation; strong analytical skills; ability to lead process improvements; experience influencing stakeholders; building/managing/mentoring a high-performing team.
