We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Global Partner Channel Director to lead and expand our partner channel initiatives in the US and European markets. This role will be responsible for developing and executing a channel strategy designed to expand relationships with channel partners and drive incremental sales and revenue growth globally.
Ideal Candidate Profile: Proven track record in channel management within the manufacturing sector, strong leadership skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Develop and execute a global partner channel strategy to achieve sales and revenue targets.
- Identify, onboard, and manage relationships with new channel partners, ensuring alignment with company goals.
- Support and train partners for success and growth.
- Monitor and manage existing partners, developing strategies to improve their sales and revenue.
- Create and manage business KPIs to monitor and manage performance.
- Oversee cross-functional support groups for partner adoption and booking increases.
- Collaborate with the sales team to align sales and channel efforts, ensuring a cohesive approach.
- Develop and implement channel partner programs (training, marketing, incentives).
- Measure and report on partner performance using key metrics (sales, revenue).
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitors, and market conditions for strategic decisions.
- Resolve conflicts and provide support to partners.
- Attend industry events to build relationships and promote the company.
- Develop enterprise-level contracts and negotiate with partners.
Skills and Competencies
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field; MBA preferred.
- 10+ years of global channel management or partner sales, preferably in a B2B SaaS company, including European channel partner experience.
- Deep understanding of driving revenue through a partner ecosystem.
- Expertise in setting up and optimizing partner-driven sales processes.
- Strong negotiation skills for partner and vendor contracts, maximizing value.
- Proven track record of growing and managing successful channel partner programs.
- Ability to identify, cultivate, and manage high-value partnerships.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, including presentations to partners and stakeholders (fluency in both German and English).
- Cross-functional collaboration with sales, marketing, product, and customer success teams.
- Familiarity with diverse sales tactics, pipeline structure, and QTM.
- Excellent problem-solving and negotiation skills.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
- Working hours for US roles: 8-5ET. EMEA roles: 8-5CET.
