  • Translate our compensation and benefits philosophy into a tactical execution plan for employees with a focus on our annual equity refresh program and salary reviews
  • Partner with Finance to forecast and lead multi-year financial models including annual merit, promotion, and equity budgets
  • Build our total rewards employee value proposition; driving employee communications to inform various reward values across offerings (cash, equity, benefits, perks, etc.) to attract, retain, and engage fellow Geeks
  • Manage, coach, and develop a team of compensation and benefits experts
  • Collaborate and consult with HR Business Partners and Recruiting on offers, promotions, transfers, and develop policies and guidelines
  • Forecast and propose a long-term compensation and equity strategy roadmap that is competitive in the marketplace while keeping in mind the equity pool
  • Iterate upon our current compensation model while working with our executive team – particularly our CFO and CEO – and board to build a truly innovative total rewards and equity program
  • Develop the annual calendar of core activities and lead the preparation of materials for the Compensation Committee
What you have
  • 10+ years working in tech company total rewards (compensation and benefits) or management consulting
  • 3+ years of people management experience
  • Proven ability to innovate in the rewards space and develop success metrics
  • Extensive knowledge of quantitative and qualitative research methods
  • Sheets/Excel wizardry - vlookups, index matches, etc. with a penchant for data visualization
  • A love of numbers and data, with an open-minded approach to problem solving
  • Comfort working in an agile work environment; you’re quick on your feet
  • Assertion when required; you’re able to challenge and be challenged both internally and with clients in a constructive and respectful way
  • Strong problem solving skills; you’re able to quickly digest a problem and evaluate solutions and then empower others to deliver
  • Ability to make effective decisions under pressure and promote a calm and considered approach
  • A desire to consistently improve efficiency and quality of delivery
  • Excellent time management skills and written and verbal communication skills
Perks
  • Equity stake
  • Flexible work environment, allowing you to work as many days a week in the office as you’d like or 100% remotely
  • A WFH stipend to support your home office setup
  • Unlimited PTO
  • Up to 16 weeks of paid family leave
  • 401(k) matching program
  • Health, vision, dental, and life insurance
  • Up to $25k towards family building services
  • $500 per year for wellness expenses
  • Subscriptions to Headspace (meditation), Headspace Care (therapy), and One Medical
  • $120 per month to spend on tickets to live events
  • Annual subscription to Spotify, Apple Music, or Amazon music
