About the role Reporting to our Head of Safety Leadership, as Health and Safety Specialist you’ll support the strategic transformation of Health & Safety at Contact.
About you You’ll be seen as the subject matter expert on all things Health & Safety and the go-to for support and advice on H&S matters for our kaimahi, service providers and contractors. You have sound knowledge of New Zealand H&S legislation and its practical application (ideally in heavy industry). You also need to understand how our front-line workers manage risk and goal conflicts at the work fronts.
This is a senior role, ideally you would have worked at a senior level before. A renowned communicator, with strong presentation skills. You need excellent writing skills to pull Board papers together, and facilitation experience would be great.
Location This role can be fully remote and we’re open to applications from all over Aotearoa.
