About Pavago:Pavago is seeking a highly detail-oriented HR and Payroll Specialist to join our Client’s team. This role is primarily responsible for managing end-to-end payroll processing for U.S. employees using ADP, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency. Additionally, this position provides administrative support to the Human Capital (HC) team across various HR functions, including benefits administration, compliance, and employee records management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Payroll Processing & Compliance: Oversee payroll for 300+ employees using ADP Workforce Now, ensuring accuracy and compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. Process biweekly payroll, including wages, overtime, bonuses, deductions, and taxes. Conduct audits, manage year-end reporting (W-2, 1099), handle garnishments, and resolve payroll discrepancies in collaboration with Finance.
- HR Administration & Employee Support: Assist employees with payroll inquiries, tax forms, and benefits. Manage leave compliance (FMLA, military, disability) and support new hire payroll setup. Handle HRIS updates, respond to inquiries, and maintain accurate employee records.
- HR Compliance & Reporting: Generate and analyze payroll and workforce reports using ADP and other HR tools. Ensure compliance with EEO, FLSA, FMLA, ADA, and other applicable labor laws. Assist in policy implementation and compliance monitoring across HR functions. Collaborate with HR leadership on payroll-related audits and process improvements.
- System & Process Improvement: Maintain ADP Workforce Now, including troubleshooting issues and updating employee data. Identify opportunities to improve payroll processes for efficiency and accuracy. Work with cross-functional teams to enhance payroll workflows and system integrations.

Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in U.S. payroll processing, preferably in a multi-state environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Extensive experience using ADP Workforce Now.
- Experience managing FMLA, disability, and other leave administration.
- Strong knowledge of U.S. labor laws and payroll compliance.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data analysis).
- Familiarity with HRIS systems and payroll reporting.
