Job Details

The HR Business Analyst will analyze and optimize time and attendance processes/systems to improve HR department efficiency. This involves collaboration with stakeholders, process/system support, and ensuring data integrity.

  1. Collaborate with team members, stakeholders (HR, IT, Finance, Payroll, Legal) to understand business needs for sustainable time and attendance processes.
  2. Ensure seamless integration and operation of HR and payroll processes.
  3. Develop and implement time and attendance process improvements for accuracy and efficiency.
  4. Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies.
  5. Create and maintain documentation for time and attendance processes/systems.
  6. Support time and attendance systems (troubleshooting/issue resolution).
  7. Participate in new projects/implementations.
  8. Manage multiple activities in a fast-paced environment.
  9. Analyze data for auditing, accuracy, and improvement.
  10. Provide time and attendance training to key users, managers, and employees.
  11. Demonstrate commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
  12. Complete any other assigned duties.

Expectations:

  • Travel (as needed)
  • Hours: 40 per week, Monday-Friday; occasional overtime for critical deadlines/issues.

Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Finance, Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field. Equivalent experience may substitute.
  • Minimum 3-5 years’ experience as a Business or Systems Specialist/Analyst.
  • Ability to interact with diverse disciplines/experience levels.
  • Experience with independent and collaborative work.
  • Proven critical thinking and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment.
  • High accuracy/attention to detail in data analysis and management.
  • Troubleshooting and resolution/answering questions.
  • Complexity and multiple priority management.
  • Experience documenting processes and training in a clear/concise manner.
  • Familiarity with time and attendance practices/processes.
