We are seeking a motivated HR professional to handle all HR activities for our UK & Ireland subsidiary. Reporting to the Finance and Administration Manager, this role offers development opportunities within the HR organization. Required skills include a structured approach, proactive mindset, hands-on mentality, flexibility, and a dedication to results.
As the HR expert and point of contact, you will manage the entire employee lifecycle, from coordination of hiring and onboarding processes to ensuring compliance with legal obligations and policies. You will also oversee payroll, travel, and mobility policies.
Responsibilities include:
- Supporting the Country Manager in building the UK and Ireland people development plan
- Managing operational HR topics, processes, and systems
- Updating employee guidelines in accordance with the HR Manager for Europe
- Serving as the key contact for all HR-related questions
- Coordinating hiring and onboarding processes with Talent Acquisition
Qualifications include:
- BSc in HR or Business Studies (preferred)
- CIPD Level 7 (mandatory)
- 3-5 years of relevant HR experience, preferably in life sciences
- Strong understanding of UK employment law
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams) and HR systems
- Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and team player
