Overview of dutiesThe position plans, develops, and implements HR strategies, including recruitment, talent management, and mobility for Local Status Employees to support company growth and development. Partners with business leaders to ensure consistent and fair employment conditions, compliant with international HR best practices and local regulations.
Main Responsibilities
- Recruitment: Manages the entire Talent Acquisition/Recruitment cycle (Position Description to Offer Letter) for Senior Profiles. Serves as contact for senior leadership and collaborates with regional/local heads of divisions and business lines. Defines recruiting strategies, builds talent pipelines, proactively identifies and recruits top candidates, defines recruitment standards and provides training for new hires.
- Talent Management: Manages talent management functions, including maintaining the succession planning/talent funnel list. Collaborates with executives on recruitment, training, and internal promotion plans, cascading information to HR Business Partners.
- Labor Management: Addresses HR/labor management issues across business lines. Supports updating and drafting employment rules, manages annual performance evaluations and internal promotions. Builds strong relationships with business unit leaders and executives, communicating and coordinating with payroll and benefits teams.
Personal Skills: Comfortable working under pressure, maintains high performance in challenging situations, exhibits high emotional intelligence, navigates complex interpersonal dynamics professionally, proactively drives change, strong business acumen and data analysis skills.
Education and Language: Master’s degree, Native Japanese, business level English, good communication and presentation skills.
Experience: Over 20 years of professional experience, over 10 years of HR experience, skilled in recruitment and talent management.
