We are currently seeking a full-time Human Resources Generalist interested in joining a high-growth stage startup.
Role Overview: The HR Generalist will build efficient and effective people operations by supporting frontline team members and leaders in all aspects of HR. They will be a key business partner, supporting and innovating on day-to-day HR operations, employee orientation and onboarding, employee relations and support, employee engagement, intentional design of critical employee journeys, bolstering culture, facilitating communication in a fully distributed workforce, finding a balance between upholding policy and creative win-win solutions to address employee and business needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own the onboarding experience for all new hires (paperwork, I9 verification, orientation).
- Track and manage phlebotomist supplies.
- Serve as the main point of contact for employee requests.
- Handle employee relations issues to resolution, coaching managers and ensuring appropriate documentation/follow-up.
- Develop and improve HR processes.
- Provide support to the People Team (Payroll and Talent Acquisition).
- Maintain knowledge of legal requirements and government reporting.

Requirements:
- 3+ years of HR experience.
- Proven solution-oriented and self-starter.
- Experience at an early-stage or high-growth startup (required).
- Strong people skills and experience in hiring, training, coaching.
- Experience with HR systems (Paylocity, Checkr, Lever preferred).
