About The Role: The HR Operations Manager oversees a team of HR Coordinators responsible for delivering and coordinating HR services, systems, information, and support. This role manages daily HR operations, including new hires, employee record management, benefits, payroll, workers' compensation, and company HR policy and workflow management. Requires HR technology and insights expertise to build and maintain a people-first, service-, and solution-driven team.
Responsibilities:
- Leadership & Team Management: Lead, develop, coach, and retain a small team of HR Coordinators. Foster a service-first, people-centered culture. Lead contributions in cross-functional projects. Manage workload distribution, performance management, and career growth.
- HR Operations & Service Excellence: Maintain company policies, lead benefit program oversight, partner with Finance on payroll and compliance, and manage HR service delivery.
- HR Systems & Technology Management: Lead data updates, audits, and process automations. Drive automation, efficiencies, and systems health. Oversee user access control, ensuring appropriate employee permissions.
- Change Management & Knowledge Management: Develop and maintain HR knowledge content, update SOPs and process documentation. Communicate with team members and leadership.
- Reporting & Insights: Generate actionable reporting and dashboards, oversee data audits, and use insights to measure HR system impact.
Requirements:
- 4-6 years of HR Operations experience; experience with ADP is preferred.
- 1-3 years of supervisory experience.
- Strong knowledge of HR policies, employment law, and compliance frameworks.
- Proven success in managing HRIS systems, case management tools, and service delivery platforms.
- High level of discretion with confidential information.
- Project management skills.
- Customer service mindset.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to multitask.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience managing remote or hybrid teams is a plus.
Salary: $100,000 - $125,000 USD (depending on location and experience)
