JamPot is looking for an experienced HR Support Specialist to join our team on a freelance basis. This is a remote position open to candidates based in the UK.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the recruitment process, including job postings, resume screening, and interview scheduling
- Support onboarding and offboarding processes for employees
- Maintain employee records and HR databases
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies and procedures
- Assist with performance management and development initiatives
- Help in the creation and implementation of HR policies and procedures
- Conduct research on HR best practices and trends
- Provide assistance in employee engagement and retention initiatives
- Support the HR team with various administrative tasks as needed
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an HR Support Specialist, HR Assistant, People Contractor or similar role
- Strong knowledge of HR principles and practices
- Experience with recruitment and talent acquisition processes
- Exceptional organizational and time-management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Proficient in HR software and MS Office Suite
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks remotely
- Familiarity with employment law and compliance regulations
- Proactive and adaptable with a willingness to learn
