Job Details
The Human Resources Consultant at OneDigital designs and administers HR policies, procedures, and programs, supporting employees. Provides expert advice, counsel, and implementation support on a fractional, interim, or project basis in HR areas:
- HR Policy and Compliance (Handbook)
- Employment Processing and Onboarding
- Performance Management
- Compensation and Benefits
- Employee Relations
- Liaison to Benefits, Recruiting, Payroll, and HR Technology Providers
Promotes HR practices for a high-performance culture emphasizing quality, productivity, and goal attainment. Demonstrates strong project management skills and the ability to multi-task.
Work may be at client site or remotely; some travel may be required.
Qualifications
- Excellent proficiency with Microsoft Office Products and strong understanding of HR and business technology tools.
- Strong communication skills (oral and written) and a desire to build relationships.
- Strong research, analytical, and project management skills.
- Ability to work with various personalities and coach employees/management objectively.
- Sound judgment consistent with standards and regulations.
- Independent judgment, confidentiality, and ability to work in a team.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in HR, Business or related field
- Minimum 7 years of HR Generalist/Leader experience
- Blend of corporate and consulting experience preferred.
- Consulting firm background in accounting/consulting or HR consulting preferred.
- PHR or SPHR certification strongly preferred
- Solid HR knowledge – employment laws and practices – and business partnership skills.
- Proven experience leading difficult conversations (terminations, probation, salary reductions, etc.) and employee growth/counseling.
- Experience in benefits, compensation, and other HR programs.
