Human Resources Generalist
Work as a well-rounded HR professional assisting with onboarding/training for clinical research professionals and support all personnel matters. Collaborate with Country Management, colleagues, and counterparts. Adapt to a growing company.
- RESPONSIBILITIES
- Full cycle staff onboarding and offboarding.
- Maintain compliance with local employment laws.
- Update HR policies and mandatory documents (under supervision).
- Maintain staff attendance logs and verify absence/leave justifications.
- Administer employee benefits and manage vendor selection, contact, and billing.
- Conduct and analyze employee surveys.
- Coordinate local/regional meetings and events.
- Conduct/acquire background checks.
- Assist with employment inquiries and requests.
- Generate and coordinate employment amendments and work certificates.
- Conduct exit interviews.
- PAYROLL
- Provide monthly information for salary calculations, tax forms, and absence reports, ensuring confidentiality.
- RECRUITMENT
- Support Talent Acquisition with interview scheduling and organization.
- Assist with candidate interviews and reports on first-stage interviews for entry- and mid-level positions.
- TRAINING
- Organize and conduct induction training for Operations staff.
- Coordinate training activities between PSI departments and offices.
- Liaise with external providers for training.
- Track and monitor training completion.
- DOCUMENT MANAGEMENT
- Maintain PSI CVs, training files, and evaluation records.
- Maintain the company HR database and associated applications.
- QUALITY ASSURANCE
- Prepare for and attend study and systems audits (internal/external).
- Participate in departmental QSD development.
Requirements
- College/University degree in HR or related field.
- At least one year of HR experience, preferably in an international company.
- Knowledge of HR practices.
- Full proficiency in Portuguese, English, and Spanish.
- Clinical Research, Pharma, or Biotech experience is a plus.
- MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint proficiency.
- Strong communication, presentation, and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work in an international environment and build relationships.
