The Human Resource Generalist will administer daily functions of the HR department at the New Richmond, WI site and provide daily support to all New Richmond employees.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Assists with open job management, candidate interview processes, and successfully onboards all new hires.
- Performs routine tasks required to administer HR processes including but not limited to payroll, timekeeping, PTO, leave of absence, employment verifications, employment data, expense & invoice approvals.
- Handles employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff.
- Conducts exit interviews and completes the off-boarding process.
- Maintains knowledge with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
- Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
- Acts as the site HR representative for general questions on company policies & procedures, employee benefits, return to work restrictions, and employee training.
- Actively participates in the site safety committee.
- Leads the New Richmond site on HR related employee communication and employee recognition.
- Assists with continuing education management and audit support.
- Collaborates with U.S. HR team members on HR driven company initiatives.
- Performs other duties as assigned by a manager.

Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required. Or equivalent experience in lieu of a degree.
- A minimum of 3 full years experience in a previous HR specific job title.
- SHRM certification a plus.
Physical Requirements: Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
This position will report to the New Richmond facility on a hybrid basis with 1 to 2 days of remote work possible as business dictates.
