The Implementation Specialist is responsible for onboarding customers and managing customer implementations.
It is important that the Implementation Specialist be confident, professional, and possess excellent verbal and written communication skills. A successful Implementation Specialist will be very organized, patient, and possess solid critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as primary contact for customers during the implementation and onboarding phase of the customer lifecycle
- Set up customer accounts in the applicable database, using native tools and/or a third-party customer management software platform
- Develop and execute customized implementation project plans and project analysis, including organizing and conducting regular project status calls internally and externally
- Work cross-departmentally with Development, Product, Sales, and Client Success to remove roadblocks and ensure a successful and timely implementation
- Assist customers with setup, configuration, and workflow decisions based on product knowledge
- Ensure all workflows and processes related to onboarding and implementations are completed on time and within budget
- Ensure a successful product launch and adoption post-go-live
- Partner with Technical Support on Customer post-go-live configuration needs
- Work with customers on Propelus products and services, both onsite (travel may be required) and online
- Complete post-implementation assessments and evaluations
- Assist in greater departmental goals and process improvements beyond Customer engagements
- Participate in pre-sales activities, such as product demonstrations and proposal development, to support the sales team
Qualifications & Desired Skills:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent relevant experience preferred.
- 1-2 years of implementation experience, or a related professional services role ideally in a software-as-a-service (SaaS) or healthcare setting.
- Exceptional skills in both written and verbal communication.
- Strong customer-service orientation
- Creative thinking and analytical problem-solving
- Detail-oriented and organizational skills
- Technical Proficiency: Experience building, testing and deploying applications. Data analysis tools, including Excel and SQL. Ticketing systems like Jira and Zendesk preferred.
- Potential Travel up to 10%.
