Full-Time International Payroll Specialist

We are looking for a detail-oriented International Payroll Specialist with experience in the Austrian market to join our global payroll team at SIXT. You will support smooth payroll operations across multiple countries, with a strong focus on Austria, help resolve payroll issues, and ensure compliance with local and international regulations.

Your Role at SIXT

• Support payroll processing by collecting, verifying, and maintaining accurate payroll data, with a key focus on Austrian payroll operations.
• Assist in preparing payroll reports and resolving discrepancies in collaboration with internal teams and providers.
• Act as a point of contact for payroll-related inquiries, ensuring timely issue resolution, particularly for Austria.
• Ensure compliance with Austrian labor laws, tax regulations, and social security requirements, while supporting audits and documentation.
• Contribute to process improvements and support payroll system updates.
• Assist with onboarding by ensuring payroll setup is accurate and compliant with Austrian standards.

Your Skills Matter

Experience: 1-3 years in payroll support or administration, with a strong understanding of Austrian payroll regulations.

Knowledge: Familiarity with Austrian tax laws, labor regulations, and social security compliance, as well as international payroll processes.

Organizational skills: Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Tools/Systems: Proficiency in payroll software and HRIS systems (e.g., ADP, Workday).

Language: Fluent in English, German and/or other languages.

Soft Skills: Proactive, solution-oriented mindset with a collaborative approach.
