About the Role The Lead/Manager, Clinical Compliance will oversee a multi-pronged team that is responsible for onboarding and continuous compliance of our clinical staff members. The position is ideal for someone with experience driving measurable efficiency gains in an operationally complex environment. The Lead/Manager, Clinical Compliance will directly manage a team of seven individuals and be responsible for building out new processes. These tasks will touch over 2,000 new hires and 1,000 existing staff members.
Responsibilities
- Plan, organize, and manage a comprehensive HR Compliance program.
- Lead and manage the team responsible for generating and maintaining the personnel file for each staff member.
- Liaise with Recruiting, Credentialing, Clinical Onboarding, Leadership, and HR Operations.
- Assure that all regulatory requirements are met, including background checks, accurate job descriptions, completed orientations, and health screenings.
- Complete initial and periodic competency assessments.
- Supervise periodic audits of employee file data for timeliness and completeness.
- Liaise with clinical leadership.
- Serve as the system-wide expert on applicable personnel file requirements.
- Provide HR Compliance related education and training.
- Develop and implement policies and protocols.
- Maintain strict confidentiality.
- Resolve escalated issues.
- Liaise with vendors.
- Cultivate positive interpersonal relationships.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree required or equivalent in experience
- Master’s degree in healthcare related field preferred
- Work authorized in the United States and native or bilingual English proficiency
- 3+ years of management experience of 3+ direct reports
- 3 years of HR experience in a healthcare setting preferred
- PHR or SPHR Certification is preferred
- TJC or CARF accreditation experience preferred
- Experience overseeing a multi-state HR compliance function preferred
- Ability to direct team workflow to meet deadlines
- Excellent verbal and written communication

- Experience advising senior corporate personnel
