Full-Time Lead Payroll Accountant

Manage and control payroll processes for management and other employee compensations.

Ensure accurate posting of payroll-related expenses in management accounts.

Prepare and validate payroll data for internal reporting.

Set up, improve, and automate payroll and contractor-related processes within accounting systems.

Liaise with external vendors and draft technical requirements for system enhancements.

Support the implementation and configuration of HR systems.

Lead, coordinate, and mentor the payroll/accounting team.

Ensure compliance and accuracy in payroll calculations, taxation, documentation, and reporting across multiple jurisdictions.

Research tax regulations related to employee income in different countries.

Support payroll budgeting and forecasting.

Professional experience in payroll accounting for large employee headcounts.

Higher education in Accounting and Auditing (Specialist/Master’s degree).

Strong managerial skills; proven ability to lead and organize a department team.

Hands-on experience with 1C ZUP, 1C8, and other accounting systems.

Skilled in process optimization and automation.

Thorough knowledge of Ukrainian payroll tax legislation for employees and sole proprietors (under the Simplified Tax System).

Familiarity with international employee income taxation (considered an advantage).

Proficient user of Excel and Google Sheets.

Fluency in written and spoken Ukrainian; Fluent in English.
