Job Details
The L&D Specialist supports the planning, coordination, and execution of learning and development initiatives for Hitachi Solutions Americas. Reporting to the Manager, Learning & Development, this role helps deliver impactful learning experiences, supports employee onboarding, and ensures smooth administration of learning platforms and programs.
Responsibilities:
- Support Learning Strategy Implementation: Assist in executing learning strategies and curricula for the organization.
- Learning Platform Administration: Support the administration of the LMS platform.
- Facilitate Skilling Voucher Programs: Assist in managing skilling resources and distributing exam vouchers.
- Enable Employee Onboarding: Contribute to the onboarding process by helping maintain Onboarding Checklist functionality.
- Project Coordination: Provide administrative and communications support for HR and L&D projects.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Management, or related field; or equivalent experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn new technologies (LMS, Teams, SharePoint)
- Interest in LMS administration and corporate training initiatives
- Detail-oriented and thorough approach to work
- Experience documenting workflows and understanding business processes
- Demonstrated organizational abilities
- Analytical mindset for assessing learning needs and outcomes
- Commitment to ongoing professional development
- Must demonstrate excellent proficiency in both written and verbal business English.
