The Learning and Development Specialist will design, implement, and evaluate training programs to enhance employee skills and performance. This role will collaborate with various departments to identify training needs and develop strategies that foster a culture of continuous learning within the organization.
Training Needs Analysis: Conduct assessments to identify skill gaps and training needs across the organization.
Program Development: Design, develop, and deliver engaging training programs, workshops, and e-learning modules that meet organizational goals.
Facilitation: Lead training sessions and workshops, using a variety of instructional techniques and formats.
Evaluation and Assessment: Measure the effectiveness of training programs through feedback, assessments, and performance metrics; make improvements as necessary.
Content Management: Maintain and update training materials and resources to ensure relevance and effectiveness.
Collaboration: Partner with department leaders to align training initiatives with business objectives and enhance employee development.
Learning Technology: Utilize learning management systems (LMS) and other technologies to deliver training and track employee progress.
Onboarding: Support the development and delivery of onboarding programs for new hires, ensuring a smooth transition into the company.
Continuous Improvement: Stay current with industry trends and best practices in learning and development to continuously enhance training programs.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Education, Organizational Development, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in learning and development, training, or instructional design.
- Strong understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.
- Proficiency in learning management systems and e-learning authoring tools.
- Ability to analyze data and provide actionable insights.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
