Full-Time Lifeguard

We are seeking a responsible and alert Lifeguard to join our team in Doha, Qatar.

As a Lifeguard, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and well-being of swimmers and patrons in our aquatic facility.

Your primary focus will be on preventing accidents, responding to emergencies, and maintaining a safe environment for all visitors.

1. Monitor swimming areas constantly to prevent accidents and respond quickly to emergency situations
2. Enforce all safety rules and regulations to prevent injuries and minimize risks
3. Perform water rescues and provide emergency care when necessary, including CPR and First Aid
4. Maintain a clean and safe pool area, including checking and maintaining appropriate water chemistry
5. Conduct regular equipment checks and report any malfunctions or safety hazards
6. Assist in the implementation of aquatic programs and activities
7. Provide excellent customer service and address any concerns or questions from patrons
8. Participate in regular training sessions to maintain and improve lifeguarding skills
9. Complete accurate reports and documentation of incidents or accidents

Required skills and qualifications:

• Strong swimming abilities and physical fitness to perform water rescues and related duties
• Current certification in Lifeguarding, CPR, and First Aid
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Excellent observation skills and ability to remain alert at all times
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with patrons and team members
• Quick decision-making abilities and sound judgment in emergency situations
• Knowledge of water safety procedures and rescue techniques
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
• Previous lifeguarding experience preferred
• Familiarity with pool maintenance and water chemistry a plus
