Your CareerThe Major Account Manager is a significant driver of company revenue and growth. As an experienced sales professional, you are responsible for leading and driving sales engagements. You are motivated by the desire to solve critical challenges facing your customer's secure environment, connecting them with solutions for every stage of threat prevention.
You will meet and exceed your quota by crafting and implementing strategic territory plans targeting deployments of the Palo Alto Networks Next Generation Security Platform. This is a unique opportunity for a closer with a go-getter mentality to win business and market share by actively displacing competing technologies. You love to sell.
Your Impact
Drive and orchestrate complex sales cycles. Work with internal partners and teams to best serve the customer. Consultative selling will identify business challenges and create solutions for prospects and customers.
Understand the competitive landscape and customer needs for effective portfolio positioning of Palo Alto Networks solutions. Create clear goals and accurate forecasting through a detailed territory plan.
Leverage prospect stories to create a compelling value proposition with insights into value for each account. Stay updated on industry news and trends, and how they affect Palo Alto Networks products and services.
Travel as necessary within your territory and to company-wide meetings.
Your Experience
Experience and knowledge of SaaS-based architectures, ideally in a networking and/or security industry.
Demonstrated experience selling complex solutions, value selling, and/or consultative sales techniques to accounts in the German Defense companies in Public Sector.
Technical aptitude to understand how technology products and solutions solve business problems.
Identifies problems, reviews data, determines root causes, and provides scalable solutions.
Cultivate relationships with channel partners for a channel-centric go-to-market approach to customers.
Demonstrates in-depth knowledge of the full sales cycle and ability to follow a structured sales process.
Ability to take a holistic approach to problem-solving by understanding the bigger picture and considering complex interrelationships and outcomes.
Excellent time management skills and work with high levels of autonomy and self-direction.
English and German language proficiency - strong communication and presentation skills, written and spoken.
