This role will help NASTAD achieve its vision of ending HIV/AIDS, viral hepatitis, and intersecting epidemics by strengthening and integrating public health and healthcare systems. The Manager will work with NASTAD members, health departments, and health systems to align HIV care and treatment, HIV surveillance, and support systems.
Essential Duties- Assess state health department needs on HIV/AIDS care and treatment programming, focusing on state ADAPs and Medicaid. Lead technical assistance (TA) response.
- Provide quantitative and qualitative analysis related to HIV and viral hepatitis care and treatment programs and develop recommendations to guide TA activities.
- Collaboratively develop, design, and deliver tools, resources, training, and consultation to improve data coordination activities.
- Represent NASTAD at meetings related to state health department HIV care programs.
- Provide timely response to NASTAD’s members through responsive messaging, mentoring, networking, and technical assistance.
- Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
- Expertise with ADAP, Ryan White, and/or Medicaid programming for HIV surveillance, prevention, and care.

Minimum of 6 years of work experience and a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field. Experience working with cross-functional teams. At least 2 years of experience working with Medicaid and/or other surveillance data systems. At least 2 years of experience working on governmental public health program teams within Ryan White, ADAP, HIV surveillance, or Medicaid units.
Full-time, 40 hours/week role.
Willing to travel as needed, up to 35%
Remote work is possible.
