Manager, Organ Donation Coordinators is responsible for supervision, coaching, and performance evaluation of assigned team members.
Supervision: Provides direct supervision and support to assigned Donation Coordinators. Conducts monthly rounding meetings, ongoing performance feedback, goal setting, and performance metric tracking. Handles professional development, performance improvement plans, and disciplinary processes as needed. Partners with HR and Senior Director of Optimization to address employee relations issues. Conducts real-time check-ins during clinical cases. Holds team members accountable to departmental and organizational goals. Ensures staff adherence to Standard Operating Procedures. Monitors team error and quality event data to address non-conformances. Resolves issues using conflict resolution and negotiation skills.
Administrative: Ensures optimal staffing on the clinical call schedule. Collaborates with fellow managers to create and distribute monthly call schedules at least 30 days in advance. Collaborates with fellow managers to monitor and approve/deny staff requests. Formulates and leads department meetings. Models a culture of Continuous Quality Improvement and participates in NEDS committees.
Training: Collaborates with Sr. Director of Education and Development to ensure timely completion of trainings. Provides support as a trainer in DC, RRC, or CDOC roles.
Clinical: Provides remote responses to referrals and cases. Acts in the role of Clinical Director on Call as needed.
