Job Description:

PrimeVigilance is seeking a Medical Information Associate to support the Medical Information team in handling initial adverse event and medical information inquiries. Responsibilities include:

• Providing approved responses to medical inquiries (healthcare professionals, patients, pharmaceutical clients), including call handling.
• Accurately identifying, documenting, and reporting adverse events/side effects, pregnancy and other special situation events, and product quality complaints within required timeframes.
• Ensuring all medical information inquiries are accurately and completely tracked and documented within the Medical Information database.
• Participating in out-of-hours provision of medical information to clients with contracted 24/7 enquiry handling services.
• Providing management with regular updates on project status and metrics concerning inquiries.
• Assisting in departmental regulatory inspection preparedness for the company pharmacovigilance system, and actively participating in PV inspections or audits.

Qualifications include:

• Life science/biomedical background – healthcare-related degree (chemistry, biology, biotechnology, pharmacy, nursing).
• Customer service or call center experience preferred.
• Comfort receiving inquiries by phone.
• Ability to perform out-of-hours service if required.
• Strong time and issue management, delegation, organizational, and multitasking skills with good attention to detail.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Advanced English and French skills, both verbal and written.
