Full-Time Medicine Specialist

Mercor is seeking a Medicine Specialist to partner with a leading AI research organization. This full-time role involves training and refining AI systems across medical disciplines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Label, annotate, and evaluate data across medical and healthcare topics.
• Contribute expertise in diagnostics, patient care, pharmacology, and imaging.
• Collaborate with technical teams to refine data annotation systems and AI training processes.
• Analyze complex medical problems and provide structured, evidence-based solutions.
• Support AI model development by contributing data in text, audio, and video formats.
• Assist in improving access to high-quality medical information and resources globally.
• Interpret evolving task instructions and maintain accuracy.

Qualifications:

• MD, DO, NP, PharmD, DDS, DMD, or a Master’s/PhD in a related medical or scientific field.
• Strong command of English communication.
• Skilled in using medical databases, journals, and online research tools.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and apply expert judgment.
• Passion for innovation in medical technology and AI applications.

Preferred Background:

• Multiple publications or first-author papers in reputable journals.
• Teaching or tutoring experience in clinical or academic medicine.
• Prior experience in AI data training, technical writing, or scientific communication.

Work Environment:

• Fully remote role with flexible scheduling.
• U.S.-based applicants must reside outside of Wyoming and Illinois.
• Must have reliable smartphone access and use a computer meeting specified requirements.

Compensation & Benefits:

• Competitive pay ranging from $90,000 to $200,000 annually for U.S.-based professionals.
