Full-Time Nocturnist Physician

Included Health is seeking a remote nocturnist physician.

Responsibilities:

• Perform age-appropriate history and virtual examinations, evaluate, diagnose, recommend treatment plans, and document findings.
• Deliver high-quality patient care while maintaining safety.
• Document medical information, and review patient history at each visit.
• Request consultation or referral with other health care providers.
• Counsel and educate patients.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests.
• Evaluate pediatric and adult patients for acute, chronic, and mental health conditions.
• Maintain knowledge of current medical research and trends.
• Provide administrative support or cross-coverage for reviewing laboratory test results.
• Schedule flexibility to include evenings and weekends.

Required Qualifications:

• Completion of a 3-year Family Medicine residency or equivalent program
• 3+ years post-residency experience in Urgent Care or Primary Care outpatient setting
• Active ABMS or AOA Board Certification (in Family Medicine or IM)
• Completion of U.S. Medical Licensing Examination
• Active and unrestricted Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLCC)
• Active medical license in the state of primary residence
• Experience/comfortable with providing care for all ages, newborn to adult populations
• Must maintain Medicare active status
• Function within an integrated medical practice
• Outstanding clinical expertise
• Comfort with technology
• Demonstrate flexibility
• Not under current exclusion or sanction by any state or federal health care program
• Must maintain Medicare active status

Physical/Cognitive Requirements:

• Prompt and regular attendance at assigned work location
• Remain seated in a stationary position for prolonged periods
• Requires eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity sufficient to operate keyboard, computer, and other office-related equipment
• Work with leadership, employees, and members in an appropriate manner

Shift Obligations:

• 32 clinical shift hours per week
• Weekday shifts scheduled between 9 PM and 5 AM PST
• Every other weekend, Saturday and Sunday shifts: 8 hours/day, scheduled between 9 PM and 5 AM
• 2 holiday shifts per calendar year

Compensation:

• $174,000 yearly average plus benefits.
