Each is seeking a Non-Executive Board Director to help shape the future of our organisation and the communities we serve.
Each is a profit for purpose organisation delivering health, mental health, disability, counselling, and community support services across Victoria, New South Wales, Tasmania, Queensland, and the ACT.
Key Responsibilities
As a Non-Executive Board Director, you will work as an active member of the Board to:
- Set strategic direction to ensure services remain person-centred, accessible, connected, effective, and safe
- Provide oversight of organisational performance and financial sustainability
- Champion inclusive, culturally safe, and psychologically safe environments for staff, clients, and communities
- Participate in Board and Committee meetings, contributing expertise to robust and constructive discussions
- Support continuous improvement, innovation, and best practice in governance, quality, and risk
- Represent Each in the community, including events and service visits
- Engage in ongoing professional development and contribute to Board evaluation and succession planning

Monthly time commitment of 8-10 hours including bi-monthly in-person Board meetings plus an annual retreat
Preferred experience & skills
- Previous Board or governance experience in not-for-profit or related sectors
- Experience in governance, quality, and risk
- Skills in legal, finance, public relations, stakeholder engagement, or business development
Mandatory requirements:
- Current and active membership of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (AICD) or equivalent, and willingness to complete relevant governance training.
- Ability to satisfy all relevant background checks (Criminal History, Working with Children, NDIS Worker Screening, Aged Care Banning Orders, Responsible Persons criteria).
