A great opportunity for an experienced Payroll Accounting Specialist to join the dynamic team at Endeavour Group! A hybrid role - great office location in Richmond, Melbourne; with work from home arrangements available
As the Payroll Accounting Specialist, you will work within a supportive team to deliver national payroll accurately and on-time every week. In this role you will apply your specialist payroll knowledge and SAP experience to support the business requirements.
Here’s a snapshot of the Payroll Accounting Specialist responsibilities:
- Performing month-end superannuation reconciliation, followed by file submission
- Ongoing monitoring of superannuation rejections and redirections
- Reconciling payroll postings and General Ledger accounts
- Ensuring PAYG tax is reconciled each pay, and submitted to Finance for payment
- Managing superannuation fund set up and compliance
- Assisting with monthly Payroll Tax submissions and the annual Payroll Tax return
- Timely resolution of payroll cases using Service Now
- Maintain and manage payroll process and policy documentation
- Identify key risk areas and develop/implement action plans to ensure ongoing compliance
You will bring to the role a strong knowledge and understanding of Australian Payroll and superannuation
Minimum 5 years of payroll experience
- Systems experience - SAP ECP is desirable, Service Now and/or UKG is also ideal
- Experience working in larger organizations
- Knowledge of Australian legislation and award interpretation
- Ability to solve complex problems relating to payroll and superannuation
- Excellent time management skills, eye for detail and accuracy
- Ability to document and deliver process improvements
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
