Position OverviewThe Payroll and Admin Specialist ensures accurate and timely payroll administration, complying with Philippine labor laws and government regulations. Proficiency in HRIS payroll systems and manual processes is crucial, along with expertise in Google Sheets and strong compliance with employee statutory contributions (BIR, SSS, Pag-IBIG, and PhilHealth).
Responsibilities
- Payroll Management: Process payroll for over 100 employees, ensuring accuracy in calculations for overtime, holiday pay, allowances, and deductions.
- Process Improvement: Utilize HRIS to streamline payroll processes and maintain accurate records for audits, including collecting BIR, SSS, PhilHealth, and Pag-IBIG documentation from new hires.
- Compliance: Prepare, process, and remit government-mandated contributions (BIR, SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG), staying updated with PH tax regulations and statutory requirements.
- Employee Benefits: Oversee employee benefit enrollment, updates, and terminations (HMO, group insurance, and other company benefits).
- Employee Support: Respond to employee inquiries related to payroll and benefits.
- Reporting: Prepare reports for management review and analysis.
- Additional Tasks: Provide support with occasional finance and administrative tasks.
Requirements
- 3+ years experience in Philippine payroll processing and benefits administration.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Accounting, Finance, or related fields.
- Advanced knowledge of PH tax regulations and government-mandated benefits.
- Proficient in both HRIS and manual payroll processing.
- Advanced skills in Google Sheets.
