A great opportunity for an experienced Payroll Specialist to join the dynamic team at Endeavour Group! Flexible hybrid role - Location is either Richmond office, Melbourne OR Bulimba office, Brisbane

As the SAP Payroll Specialist, you will work within a supportive team to deliver national payroll accurately and on-time every week.

Here’s a snapshot of the Payroll Specialist responsibilities:

  • Processing end-to-end weekly payroll for Dan Murphy’s, BWS and ALH employees (circa 30,000 team members) using SAP Employee Central Payroll
  • Completing post payroll activities including STP reconciliation
  • Timely resolution of complex payroll cases using Service Now
  • Processing of payment adjustments, termination payments, overpayments
  • Performing month end superannuation reconciliation, followed by file submission
  • Maintain and manage payroll process and policy documentation as required and actively share knowledge and cross skill team members
  • Identify key risk areas and develop/implement action plans to ensure ongoing compliance

You will bring to the role a strong knowledge and understanding of Australian Payroll

  • Minimum of 5 years payroll experience.
  • Systems experience - SAP ECP is desirable, Service Now and/or UKG is also ideal.
  • Experience working in larger organisations, within a fast paced environment.
  • Knowledge of Australian legislation and award interpretation.
  • Ability to solve complex problems relating to payroll, leave and GL accounts.
  • Excellent time management skills, eye for detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to document and deliver process improvements.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
