Job Details
Reports to Payroll Manager. Performs payroll accounting and administrative duties.
Duties:
- Processes daily, weekly, and biweekly payroll for 1500 employees.
- Handles garnishments, payroll adjustments, reimbursements, per diems, and taxes.
- Ensures compliance with federal and state wage and hour laws.
- Reviews payroll forms for accuracy.
- Liaison to field and internal staff to resolve payroll issues.
- Researches and resolves payroll-related problems.
- Issues W-2 reprints.
- Creates payroll data reports.
- Performs other duties assigned by Manager.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma
- 3-5 years of payroll/accounting experience
- Strong communication skills
- Excel experience
- Knowledge of state and federal payroll tax requirements
