About this job The Payroll Specialist is responsible for managing all aspects of payroll processing to ensure employees are paid accurately and on time, for assigned markets. This role involves collecting and verifying timesheet data, calculating and processing payments, and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations. Location - Remote (India)
Responsibilities
- Carrying out full-scale payroll tasks for assigned markets Singapore and APAC countries for GfK and NIQ.
- Partner with the external payroll provider, ensuring monthly payroll admin/data is provided accurately and on time.
- Liaise with payroll vendor to ensure consistent, timely and accurate application and compliance with all applicable laws and regulations and company’s policies and practices.
- Ensure payroll report is correct and execute salary payout via bank transfer.
- Administration related to the establishment and termination of employment.
- To keep up-to-date payroll records in the HR shared point.
- First point of contact for payroll and admin matters, escalating to HRBP where necessary.
- Assist in the daily running of the department providing information and dealing with enquiries
- Support and administer Payroll Management and includes all task related to payroll process, validations and report generations.
- Liaising with Government agencies and Statutory bodies to ensure compliance with regulations.
- Prepare and submit required reports and payments to relevant authorities in a timely manner.
- Maintain employee confidence and protect payroll operations by keeping information confidential.
- To handle all other ad hoc payroll related matters as and when required.
Experience with payroll transition or implementation projects is a plus

Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of relevant professional experience in HR, related to Payroll activities
- Experience working in HR Shared Services Hub
- University degree in HR, Economics or related
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office, advanced Excel
- Excellent English proficiency, both written and spoken
- Interest in working with numbers/data and detail-oriented
- Strong analytical thinking
- Accurate and reliable working attitude
