Job Details
Teamswell is seeking a Payroll Specialist to process payrolls daily for a variety of clients. This role is responsible for:
- Sending out daily payroll reminders.
- Gathering hours from clients.
- Managing employee changes.
- Calculating and balancing payroll files.
- Sending payroll reports for approval.
- Creating ACH files and mailing checks.
- Setting up client PTO accruals and auditing balances.
- Responding to inquiries from employees and clients.
- Processing garnishments/tax levies/child support.
- Assisting with Unemployment Claims and VOEs.
- Managing timekeeping software.
- Running reports for clients and helping them navigate PrismHR.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Must understand GAAP principles and financial statements
- 2+ years working with a Multi Client accounting portfolio (MANDATORY)
- Minimum 3+ years of work in payroll processing for U.S.-based companies.
- Knowledge of PTO accruals and PTO audits
- Excel Savvy
- Detail Oriented
- Works well under pressure & tight deadlines

- Propensity to improve processes
