Full-Time Payroll Tax Administrator

Payroll Tax Analyst resolves payroll tax issues and maintains compliance with federal and state tax laws.

Supports the payroll manager and administrators.

• Addresses inquiries from taxing jurisdictions
• Monitors compliance with federal and state payroll tax laws
• Analyzes data to make decisions, research issues, and audit
• Researches and resolves payroll tax discrepancies
• Produces documentation for agencies and audits
• Understands quarterly and annual filings for federal and multi-state payrolls
• Assists ADP with filings, account registrations, and account closings
• Collaborates with the payroll team to ensure daily compliance
• Serves as backup for payroll administrators and manager

Education and Experience

• Associate degree
• Minimum 2 years' experience in payroll tax processing
• One year payroll experience
• Strong understanding of federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations

Knowledge/ Skills/ Abilities

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines

Licenses/ Certifications

• Fundamentals of Payroll Certification (preferred)
