Full-Time Payroll Tax Administrator

The Payroll Tax Administrator resolves payroll tax issues and maintains compliance with federal and state tax laws. This role will also support the payroll manager and payroll administrators.

• Address inquiries from taxing jurisdictions
• Monitor compliance with federal and state payroll tax laws
• Analyze data to make decisions, research issues and audit
• Research and resolve payroll tax discrepancies
• Produce documentation to agencies and for audits
• Understand quarterly and annual filings for federal and multi-state payrolls
• Assist ADP with filings, account registrations, and account closings
• Collaborate with the payroll team to ensure daily compliance
• Serve as back up for payroll administrators and manager

Education and Experience

• Associate degree
• Minimum 2 years' experience in payroll tax processing
• One year payroll experience
• Strong understanding of federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations

Knowledge/ Skills/ Abilities

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines

Licenses/ Certifications

• Fundamentals of Payroll Certification (preferred)
