Job Details
Payroll Tax Analyst I resolves payroll tax issues and maintains compliance with federal and state tax laws. This role supports the payroll manager and payroll administrators.
- Addresses inquiries from taxing jurisdictions
- Monitors compliance with federal and state payroll tax laws
- Analyzes data to make decisions, research issues and audit
- Researches and resolves payroll tax discrepancies
- Produces documentation to agencies and for audits
- Understands quarterly and annual filings for federal and multi-state payrolls
- Assists ADP with filings, account registrations, and account closings
- Collaborates with the payroll team to ensure daily compliance
- Serves as backup for payroll administrators and manager
