As Marqeta’s People Business Partner Director - G&A, partner with the CFO and CAO to enhance leadership capabilities and the overall Marqeta experience for G&A teams. Focus on providing leadership coaching, driving change management initiatives, and ensuring successful program adoption.
Contribute to the G&A organization's development, supporting leaders and teams in a complex business environment.
Report to the Head of Global People Business Partners. Critical role in a global, flexible-first, high-growth organization.
Remote work possible in the U.S. or Oakland headquarters.

Who You Are:
- Experience: 10+ years progressive experience as a People Business Partner (HRBP) or in talent roles.
- Problem Solver: Analytical mindset, understanding of organizational dynamics, root cause analysis.
- Owner: Act with purpose, align people initiatives to strategic priorities, balance short-term/long-term organizational needs.
- Innovator: Design org structures, re-think performance management, advise on talent planning.
- Collaborator: Build strong partnerships rooted in trust, transparency.
- Doer: Act with urgency and intention.
- Leader: Coach, influence, inspire C-suite leaders, uphold company values.
Nice-to-Haves: BA/BS or equivalent; advanced degree in HR or related area + PHR/SPHR preferred. Experience supporting C-suite leaders.
