Contractor People Compliance Consultant

The People Compliance Consultant will ensure the Group complies with legal, regulatory, and policy requirements for recruitment and employment. They will develop and implement compliance processes and policies for right to work and criminal checks, designing frameworks for effective governance.

• Risk Assessment and Mitigation: Identify risks in compliance frameworks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Internal Policy Development: Collaborate to update internal policies and guidelines.
• Audit and Reporting: Develop compliance audits and assessments, establishing comprehensive reporting.
• Training and Awareness: Support learning and development to raise awareness of compliance requirements.
• Monitor Regulatory Changes: Stay informed about changes and ensure adherence to updated standards.
• External Partnership Working: Work with external partners/regulators for adherence and continuous improvement.
• Performance & Insight: Improve performance against People metrics using data and reporting.
• Maintain current and accurate information within the HRIS and produce robust management information aligned to business needs. Maintaining data protection at all times
• Culture: Support cultural alignment, fostering a commitment to people first.
