People Manager
Role: Strategic and hands-on People Manager, crucial in providing full-cycle HR support, driving HR excellence, and supporting the company's fast-paced growth.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with leadership in strategic initiatives (organizational design, budgeting, succession planning, training).
- Support HR programs (performance management, recruitment, compensation, engagement).
- Develop and grow HR function (policies, procedures, benefits, rewards).
- Lead employee engagement initiatives.
- Recruitment & Talent Acquisition: Full cycle recruitment, partnership with hiring managers, contract negotiation, background checks.
- Onboarding & Offboarding: Design and implement onboarding programs, oversee exit interviews.
- Administration & Compliance: Maintain employee records, oversee payroll, benefits, comply with employment laws.
- Policy Development & Implementation: Lead policy development, review, implementation, and communication.
- Employee Relations & Conflict Resolution: Provide coaching, handle sensitive issues, conduct investigations.
- Talent Development & Training: Identify and implement training programs.
- HR Metrics & Reporting: Track and analyze metrics, prepare reports for senior leadership.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field.
- 5+ years of HR management experience.
- Integrity, professionalism, confidentiality, knowledge of employment laws.
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Suite, HRIS, and payroll systems.
- SHRM-CP, PHR or related certification is a plus.
- Experience at a high-growth startup is a plus.
Time and Location: Fully remote W2 role, Eastern Time (9:00 am - 5:00 pm), with flexibility.
Compensation: $80,000 - $90,000 base salary + bonus eligibility.
