People Operations Coordinator Job Description
Our People Operations team ensures a positive employee experience. We seek an enthusiastic entry-level People Operations Coordinator (1 year or less experience) to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Support HR processes (onboarding, engagement, offboarding, etc.)
- Onboarding: Lead handoff between Recruiting and People, process documents, setup onboarding plans, host classes, and prepare materials.
- Process new hire documentation, maintain records in HRIS.
- HR Administration: Maintain employee records, issue contracts/amendments/salary letters, respond to HR inquiries (Jira, Slack, email), update Confluence, process benefits.
- Employee Engagement: Support planning/execution of engagement initiatives and events, manage internal communications, be a point of contact for HR mail/shipping/phone calls, manage HR vendor relationships.
- Maintain employee handbook, support employee data accuracy.
- Assist with benefits administration.
Qualifications:
- 0-1 year of professional experience, internships or relevant coursework.
- Excellent communication skills, attention to detail.
- Proactive attitude, willingness to learn.
- Location: Eastern or Central Time Zone.
Bonus Skills:
- Bachelor's degree (Business, HR, Technology)
- Experience in global organizations, software companies, HRIS (HiBob, Paylocity), and ATS (Greenhouse).
Compensation: $50,000 - $60,000 per year + equity + benefits.
